Gluten-free squash ovens

A recipe for sweet little ovens that will have its success thanks to its mystery ingredient, butternut squash.

  •    250 grams butternut squash flesh cooked and mixed
  •     40 grams of chickpea flour
  •     2 eggs
  •     100 grams of sugar
  •     70 milliliters of melted butter
  •     1 teaspoon of 4 spices
  •     1 teaspoon baking powder
  •     1 tbsp rum
  •     For icing: 1/2 orange 150 g icing sugar


STEP 1 Preheat preheat your oven to 180oC.

STEP 2 Mix flour, baking powder and spices.

STEP 3 In a container, beat the eggs with the sugar.

STEP 4 Add rum, squash flesh and melted butter. Mix well.

STEP 5 Incorporate the mixture with the flour.

STEP 6 Turn the mixture into an oiled mould.

STEP 7 Bake and bake for 20 minutes.

STEP 8 Let cool on a wire rack.

STEP 9 Prepare the icing: squeeze the orange.

STEP 10 Carefully mix the juice with the icing sugar.

STEP 11 Divide on the cake completely cooled and cut into small cubes.

STEP 12 Leave to dry.
